Before you book
Why did the price change when I went to book?
Search prices can be cached, and the seats available at a particular fare can sell out. The airline or seller may also add optional extras during checkout. Compare the final total, currency, baggage and conditions before paying. A search result is not a reserved seat or a guaranteed price.
How do I compare two fares fairly?
Compare the full journey, not just the headline price: airports, travel dates, cabin, baggage allowance, seat selection, change fees and refund conditions. A cheaper basic fare can cost more once the extras you need are included. There is no guaranteed cheapest day to book.
Does my ticket include a carry-on or checked bag?
Baggage depends on the airline, route and fare you select. A personal item is not necessarily the same as a cabin bag. Check the operating airline's size and weight rules and the allowance shown on your actual ticket. For journeys involving multiple airlines, confirm which rules apply to each leg.
How much time should I leave for a connection?
There is no single safe connection time for every airport. Consider immigration, security, terminal changes, baggage collection and whether you must check in again. An itinerary sold on one ticket may meet the airline's minimum connection time, but that does not guarantee a stress-free transfer. Allow extra time for unfamiliar airports or important trips.
What is a self-transfer, and why does it matter?
A self-transfer usually involves separate tickets. You may need to collect bags, enter the country and check in again. If the first flight is late, the next airline may not be obliged to rebook you. Check transit and entry requirements, leave a generous buffer, and read any seller-provided connection protection carefully before purchasing.
After you book
How do I know my flight is actually ticketed?
Look for the seller's ticketing confirmation and, where applicable, an e-ticket number—not just a payment receipt or booking request. Use the airline's manage-booking page to check your reservation and contact the seller if ticketing is unclear. A booking reference alone is not proof that payment and ticket issuance are complete. Never post booking references, passport details or ticket numbers publicly.
Who handles changes, cancellations and refunds?
Start with the airline or booking seller named on your confirmation. Voluntary changes depend on your fare conditions; disruptions can involve separate legal rights. Do not assume every ticket is refundable or has a free cancellation window. Read the applicable terms before paying and retain your receipts and any written refund promises.
What should I do if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
Check the airline's notifications and contact the airline or your ticket seller about rebooking. Keep your itinerary, messages and reasonable-expense receipts. Assistance, refunds and compensation depend on the journey and applicable law; compensation is not automatic for every disruption. Consult the official US or EU resources below when relevant.
Using SUITS
Who sells and issues the ticket when I search on SUITS?
SUITS helps you search and routes you to a booking partner. For Aviasales referrals, checkout is with the airline or seller you select there. That seller handles payment, ticketing and servicing under its own terms. SUITS does not itself issue airline tickets. Any SLAYER result labelled demo is fictional inventory, not a bookable airline fare.
Does SUITS earn a commission from partner links?
SUITS may earn an affiliate commission when you follow an attributed partner link and make a qualifying booking. Clicking a link alone does not create a paid sale. Attribution, eligibility, cancellations and payout timing are governed by the partner programme; SUITS cannot guarantee that every referral earns commission.
Can I ask for help with a group trip or a more complex itinerary?
Yes. Send your departure and arrival cities, dates or flexibility, number of travellers, cabin preference and baggage needs through Concierge. A request is not a reservation, a payment or a ticket. Do not include passport numbers or card details in your initial message; availability and final terms must be confirmed before booking.
